How to sell yourself to the West е хумористично проучване на точките за продажба, идентичност, предимства и стратегии, които помагат на творците да „творят" на западния арт пазар. Въз основа на собствения си опит, интервюта с куратори, институции, изследвания в архивите на изкуството и истории на художници от различни страни, проектът беше успешно представен в Берлин и Париж. Сега идва в София, за да сподели:
1.Как да станеш известен?
2. Как да получиш награда?
...или поне след смъртта си как да влезнеш във вечните архиви на изкуството?
Очакват ви много искреност, смях и шеги, с които си казваме истината...

През 2024 г. по време на резиденцията си в Париж в Cité internationale des arts с подкрепата на Institut français, Ада Мухина написва новата версия на своята лекция-спектакъл „How to sell Yourself to the West”, която изследва френския пазар на изкуство, неговите йерархии и проблеми с достъпа до него за жени и артисти мигранти. Ада представя резултатите от работата си в Maison d’artiste et de production Cromot на 2 октомври 2024 г.

How to Sell Yourself to the West is a humorous investigation of the unique selling points, identity advantages, and strategies that help artists “make it” at the Western art market. Based on Ada’s own experience, interviews with the curators of the art institutions, research in the art archives, and stories of artists from diverse countries, the project has been successfully presented in Berlin and Paris. Now she comes to Sofia to share her findings: how to become famous, receive a prize, or at least after your death get into the art archive.

The project was conceived in 2020 at the residency of the Young
Academy of the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. The German
premiere took places at the Radar Ost festival in 2021 at the
Deutsches Theater Berlin. The radio version of the project was
commissioned by Deutschlandfunk in 2023, and rebroadcasted by
WDR-Radio in 2024. The Paris edition was created at the residency of Cité internationale des arts with support of Institut français and presented at the Maison d’artiste et de production Cromot in 2024.
